Security, privacy and NO maintenance
Alderley Edge Windows & Doors were contacted in January by a customer who had seen an attempted break-in on the back door of there property in Alderley Edge. The uPVC panel at the bottom had been kicked in but luckily the internal glass door was locked so they gave up and left.
Luckily we had just the thing for them !!!
A brand new high security composite back door with a steel reinforced frame..
The customer also wasn’t keen on the obscure glass in the door so we came up with the alternative…
Clear glass with blinds inside the unit so privacy with no maitenance.
Now they are safe and secure and have a modern back door that there next door neighbours admire.

From timber to composite in Wilmslow
Composite doors come in all shapes, sizes and colours. Fanlights, sidelights and cat flaps everything can be accommodated in a composite front door and a composite back door installation.
A customer of ours from Wilmslow made an enquiry saying that he had an old timber door and side panel that needed replacing and had been to see a showroom with composite doors in and although they were spoilt for choice with designs and colours he had a side panel on his door but other companies could only offer a side panel as a separate frame which made the mullion between the door and the side panel over 150mm wide !
At Alderley Edge Windows & Doors we can make composite doors with side panels in one complete frame without the need for 2 frames and a jointing coupler. As you can see the results were excellent and he has asked us to replace his back door in the summer !!

Wilmslow home safe with composite front door
Alderley Edge Windows & Doors were recently contacted by a Wilmslow homeowner who was concerned about the security of his home after one of his friends had shown him a You Tube video of a break in on a uPVC door.
Although the door and frame were reinforced and had multipoint locks the panel that was just held in the frame by some glazing beads was flimsy and could be kicked out.
The composite door with its high security locks and door slab construction not only makes it solid and secure from any attempted break ins but also retains more of the precious heat which can be lost through a normal upvc door.
The result was stunning , so much so that his next door neighbor is having one fitted in March !
